..actually its green but you know.. it sounds cool.. right?

I was feeling like it had been a while since I had taken my time to make some quality pixel art.. so this is an attempt to correct that. I hope you'll enjoy it. I don't usually go for these kinds of scenes but they're nice because you can really go nuts on details.. so.. I did :)

time: I stopped counting :pc:

cool! i really love the colour of the blood.

it looks really realistiv! O_o
yea, you definatly went nuts on the detail... Awsome pix,... and now a question... about how long did it take you to make that pic?

-FIGMENT
There are things in this world that you love, but you really suck at doing. Pixel Art is one of these things. Adding to favourites. ^_^

Ya want cancer with that, beeeeeyotch?
Hmm...255 colors, dare I guess that you actually didn't do this pixel for pixel, but rather drew over with an airbrush or so and then lowered the color count to be able to save as gif? (thusly devoiding this from being proper pixel art)

all the elements/objects were done pixel by pixel, I used the brush for large pools of blood, the colouring of the walls, and some parts of the rust just cos I was lazy after that I used a 1px pencil eraser and went over the different areas adding detail. I think it still qualifies as pixel art even though its a mix of different techniques.

It's a bit like, lets say you could make a painting with watercolors, but so it would look EXACTLY like an oil painting, would you call it an oil painting?

If you have to reduce the colors to be able to save it properly then you're stepping away from what pixel art truly is. Yes, I admit it, I am a purist and I might be preaching for deaf ears. Pixel art is made up of pixel brushes, lines and fills, not antialiased brushes drawn over, in part or in whole. This would constitute in my, and many other's, book as a mixed medium at best. But I wouldn't go as far as calling it pixel art.

bien glauque :D

un boulot impressionnant en tout cas...je doute pas un instant que ce soit du vrai pixelart...et en plus c'est du bon !

I guess you're right in the sense that I did use an antialiased brush but on the other hand I did go over every single pixel in this piece which to me accounts for its pixelartness.
